My Zebra R110Xi only prints half way down the label, what is causing this?

Q: My Zebra R110Xi only prints half way down the label, what is causing this?

A: If your Zebra R110Xi does not fill the entire label it could mean that your printer is not fully calibrated, or that your driver settings are not set properly for the label size you are using. To calibrate your printer see: How to calibrate a Zebra R110Xi. SimplyRFiD recommends that you use a Generic/Text driver with your printer to allow On-Demand to make all the adjustments for you, but if you are using the Zebra printer driver you should follow these instructions to adjust your label length.

To adjust the driver label length settings
  1. Open the Control Panel 
    On your PC, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

  2. Adjust the Paper Size 
    Right click on your printer and select, Properties. Under the general tab click on the Printing Preferences button. Expand the Paper/Output item and change the Paper Size property to match your labels. Click OK when you are finished. 

  3. Adjust the Printing Defaults 
    Under the Advanced tab in the properties dialogue of the printer, click the Printing Defaults button. Expand the Paper/Output item and change the Paper Size property to match your labels. Click OK when you are finished.
