How to load paper in a Zebra R110Xi

Steps for loading paper into the Zebra R110Xi for the first time
  1. Adjust the paper guide
Begin by adjusting the paper guide on the media hanger by lowering the guide and pulling it towards you.

  2. Add labels to rear spindle
Add your roll of labels. The paper will feed label side up as the roll spins counterclockwise.

  3. Adjust the media guide
Once you have added your labels, you will need to adjust the media guide. Loosen the thubscrew on the bottom of the guide and slide it towards you to fit your labels. The guide should allow the labels to feed smoothly without allowing them to travel left or right.

  4. Loosen the printhead
Loosen the printhead by turning the lever counter-clockwise about one half inch. Begin feeding your labels through the back of the print head.

  5. Feed the labels
The paper should slide underneath both small black rollers, between the media guides, and straight through to the front of the printer. Continue feeding your labels through the front of the printer until you have about a half inch of your label resting on the printhead.

  6. Close the printhead
Twist the lever clockwise to lower the print head and lock it in place.
