How do I sync my handheld inventory data back to my PC?

Q: How do I sync my handheld inventory data back to my PC?
A: NoxVault stores all of its data into a NoxVault.csv file in the root directory of the handheld. To sync this data back to your PC you will need to download Microsoft ActiveSync.

The NoxVault.csv file contains a few key pieces of information. The following fields are automatically added to the file:
RFID name location state stateLast barcode last
The 24-digit RFID number stored in the tag.The Display name of the asset. The last known location of the asset. Can be either Missing (not found during the last inventory scan), or Found. The state of the asset before the most recent inventory scan.A reference field that can store any standard barcode format.Date and time asset was last seen.

If you are using Windows XP, you can download Microsoft ActiveSync from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync-download.mspx

Once you have ActiveSync, you will be able to connect your NoxVault handheld to the USB port on your computer and navigate to My Computer. Double-click on the Mobile Device icon (typically named CS101) to access the contents of your NoxVault handheld. The .CSV file with your inventory data can be copied right into the root directory with the filename "NoxVault.csv".
